Cookware / JOHN LEWIS

This was part of the ‘Better...’ projects for John Lewis to identify a feature to improve the functionality of everyday consumer products. This project is a range of cookware developed for its own brand. The highlight was a lid venting and pouring feature.

We proposed a number of concept directions based on reaching the balance between aesthetics, comfort, cooking performance, functionality and optimal use of materials. We identified a number of potential materials and processes to provide high-quality and competitive pricing to sit within John Lewis's portfolio of professional cookware.

I worked extensively to develop the chosen concept with John Lewis's manufacturing partners providing continual support to deliver the intended design to production.
