Cookware / JOHN LEWIS

This was part of the ‘Better...’ projects for John Lewis to identify a feature to improve the functionality of everyday consumer products. This project is a range of cookware developed for its own brand. The highlight was a lid venting and pouring feature.

We proposed a number of concept directions based on reaching the balance between aesthetics, comfort, cooking performance, functionality and optimal use of materials. We identified a number of potential materials and processes to provide high-quality and competitive pricing to sit within John Lewis's portfolio of professional cookware.

We worked extensively to develop the chosen concept with John Lewis's manufacturing partners providing continual support to deliver the intended design to production.
